Kathleen has led Data Governance at Yale since 2022. She initially reported to the Director of Enterprise Reporting & Analytics within the ITS organization, and moved to the newly created UDO in January 2025.
Prior to her work in data governance, Kathleen worked for the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences, International Security Studies and the Brady-Johnson Program in Grand Strategy. Kathleen holds multiple certifications in Data Governance focus areas from Educause and has been on the Educause Data Governance Community Group Steering Committee since 2024. She has also presented on Yale’s data governance journey at the Higher Education Data World conferences in 2023 and 2025. Kathleen holds her M.A. In International Relations from the University of St. Andrews. Outside of work, she serves on the Yale Health Patient & Family Council.
